Nathan Cheong

Chief Executive Officer

Leads Nuchev’s strategic growth across multi-channel wellness platforms.

Nathan brings over 20 years of experience in complementary medicine, natural healthcare, and FMCG leadership. He is a seasoned CEO and Director with a strong record of driving growth across both consumer and practitioner health sectors.

Full Bio:
Nathan commenced as Chief Executive Officer of Nuchev Limited on 12 May 2025, having previously served as a Non-Executive Director from September 2024 to February 2025. His deep understanding of Nuchev’s portfolio and purpose allows him to unite commercial performance with scientific integrity.

Throughout his career, Nathan has held senior leadership positions across some of the industry’s most respected organisations — including CEO roles at Melrose Group and Life-Space Group, Managing Director at Designs for Health, and executive leadership positions at BioCeuticals (a Blackmores company), Global Therapeutics, and Herbs of Gold.

Nathan has also served on the Board of Complementary Medicines Australia, contributing to industry-wide advancement in regulation, quality, and practitioner education.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology & Biochemistry), Bachelor of Social Work (Sociology), Advanced Diploma of Naturopathic Medicine, and Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). Nathan is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).

Mick Myers

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer

Drives operational and financial excellence, enabling scalable brand success.

Mick is an experienced finance and operations executive with 35+ years across ASX-listed, SME, and global businesses. He brings strong leadership, governance, and strategic capability to Nuchev’s growth and transformation.

Full Bio:
Mick joined Nuchev as Interim CFO in March 2022, was appointed CFO in May 2022, then served as Interim CEO & CFO from December 2023. He became CEO in May 2024 and transitioned to his current dual role of COO & CFO in May 2025.

Prior to Nuchev, Mick was Group CFO at Simonds Group Limited (2016–2022) and held senior finance roles with Toll Group, MMG Limited, Oz Minerals Limited, and Zinifex Limited. Earlier, he spent 18 years with Deloitte across audit, forensic, and enterprise risk services.

Mick holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and a Graduate Diploma of Accounting, is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and is a graduate of the Financial Executives International (FEI) program.

David Curie

General Manager, Commercial

Champions retailer and practitioner partnerships across all regions.

David is an accomplished commercial leader with over 20 years of experience across FMCG, agriculture, and health & wellness. He brings a proven track record in building category leadership, expanding markets, and forging strong partnerships with retailers and practitioners.

Full Bio:
David joined Nuchev Limited in February 2025, bringing deep expertise in sales, category management, and international expansion. Prior to joining Nuchev, he served as Commercial Director & Head of Sales at Life-Space Group, where he led the probiotics portfolio’s growth and strengthened key customer relationships across pharmacy and grocery channels.

His previous leadership roles include General Manager at CherryHill Orchards, where he expanded the company’s food and beverage footprint, and senior commercial positions at Heritage Brands, Symington’s, and Coles. Earlier in his career, David worked with Procter & Gamble and Gillette across the Asia-Pacific region, leading global promotional strategy and category ROI initiatives.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics & Statistics and brings global perspective and commercial discipline to Nuchev’s growth and partnership strategy.

Roberta Barbiellini

General Manager, Practitioner Division

Leads practitioner innovation and clinical brand distribution

Roberta is a qualified naturopath and experienced healthcare leader with deep expertise in product innovation, clinical education, and practitioner engagement. She is dedicated to advancing evidence-based natural medicine and ensuring access to high-quality supplements for practitioners and their patients.

Full Bio:
Roberta has built a career across the natural medicine and supplements industry, holding senior roles at Blackmores Group, Integria Healthcare, and Metagenics ANZ (formerly Health World Ltd). Her experience spans clinical practice, research, product development, and corporate leadership, underpinned by a passion for scientific integrity and practitioner education.

At Nuchev, Roberta leads the Practitioner Division, overseeing the bWellness portfolio, which includes BioPractica, Heel, Magnesium Diasporal, and Basica. She is recognised for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing high-performing, values-driven teams.

Roberta holds a Master of Education from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from Griffith University, and an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy (Academy of Natural Therapies). She is a member of the Naturopath & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) and serves as an Adjunct Professional Fellow at the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University

Helen Hovenga

Head of Human Resources

Builds empowered teams through a culture of trust and innovation

Helen is a senior HR executive with extensive experience leading people and culture transformation across global and ASX-listed organisations. She brings a proven ability to align strategy, structure, and leadership to create high-performing, purpose-driven teams.

Full Bio:
Helen has led People & Culture functions across some of Australia’s most respected organisations, including Telix Pharmaceuticals, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Mars, SABMiller, Toyota, Newcrest Mining, and Cleanaway. Her work has spanned global transformation programs, organisational redesign, and the creation of culture strategies that drive engagement, agility, and growth.

At Nuchev, Helen partners closely with the Board and Executive Team to deliver a forward-looking People Strategy that supports business expansion and fosters a culture of innovation and accountability.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and specialises in executive coaching, strategic leadership, and change management.
